Writing a proposal

There are 2 options for the course I am taking - one is to take on a short(ish) editing project; the other to do a research paper.
I WANT to do the editing project - but my co-ordinator/boss wants me to do a specific research paper.
Both have benefits - but one seems, at least right now, to me, to be a whole lot more work than t'other.
What to do what to do?

It's a dilemma. You can never go wrong in trying to please the boss, however.
I suggest that you choose to have access to the best interests of that one
