First day is winding down now...I'm in a lecture - paying attention, honest! But...
U of Victoria is gorgeous, and the residences here, at least the cluster housing units that we are in are much, MUCH nicer than the res I stayed in at Carleton (in Ottawa) a couple of weeks ago. We have 4 bedrooms, 2 washrooms (both with showers, not just the one like Carleton had for 8!!!! students). We also have a kitchen and living room ...and pretty much everything here at uVic comes complete with pets - i.e. bunnies.
There are many many wild bunnies here - they (and their poop) are all over the lawns. As cute and novel as they are, they clearly are a pain to those that have to deal with them - such as the university's neighbours.
Anyway .... I should get back to paying attention (yeah, speaker just got onto topic of interest to me)
British Colummbia was actually at the top of my place in Canada to emigrate to (if I ever did)...until I met you. Now I think you'd be offended if I was in Canada and so far away.
Pack up those bunnies and send then to me I will feed them to my dog. It costs a fortune here to buy rabbit from the meat market.
Those wild bunnies are adorable. Wish I could find some here :)
I haven't been to B.C. in years, or to Victoria specifically in even longer. But it's a beautiful, beautiful city. I was there in the summer, and all I can remember are FLOWERS.
